Vista Tasting Room Businesses Invited to Attend Workshop

Thursday, August 14 | 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. |  Virtual

The City of Vista is working with Graphic Solutions to create a program of wayfinding signage to direct visitors to the City’s various tasting rooms for craft breweries, distilleries, wineries, meaderies, seltzers and kombucha brewers. This program seeks to create more opportunities for visits to boutique beverage craft businesses, boost tourism, and position Vista as a premier destination for visitors. It is anticipated that wayfinding signs will be posted in the public right-of-way and as such, will not include the names of individual businesses or logos.

To facilitate stakeholder input, a virtual public workshop meeting is scheduled to take place on August 14 at 11:00 a.m.

In advance of the meeting, a survey has been created to gather input from stakeholders who may be unable to attend.

Process:
• Stakeholder Meeting #1 (virtual) to gather input – Graphic Solutions, City staff, and stakeholders
• Create a sketch-pack of design options based on input – Graphic Solutions
• Create a location map of suggested locations – Graphic Solutions
• Stakeholder Meeting #2 (in-person, at a local tasting room) to present design options and suggested locations – Graphic Solutions, City staff, and stakeholders
• Based on preferred design options, refine concept designs in preparation for presentation to City Council in November/December 2025
• Present design options, location map, and implementation plan with cost estimates to City Council
