Free Event for Businesses Located in the Vista Business Park
Join the City of Vista, California State University San Marcos, and the U.S. Green Building Council California for an engaging morning of presentations and discussions at Hyatt Place Vista (2645 S. Melrose Drive). Learn about the Green Business Certification Program, California State University's Senior Experience Program, and incentives and resources that are available to Vista businesses.
- Roger Herzler (Director of Business Community Project Operations, California State University San Marcos) will discuss the Senior Experience Program, a learning initiative which pairs graduating seniors with businesses to tackle projects to deliver results that meet real-world needs while helping them grow professionally.
- Robert Carr (Program Manager, U.S. Green Building Council California) will discuss the process for obtaining Green Business certification and joining the Green Business Network, and explain the benefits that come with certifying your business.
- Larry Vaupel (Economic Development Director, City of Vista) will discuss available state and local business incentives and resources.
