Partner with College Seniors on High-Impact Projects

The College of Business Administration at CSU San Marcos is excited to introduce the Vista business community to their acclaimed Senior Experience program! This experiential learning initiative pairs teams of graduating seniors with businesses to tackle specific projects, delivering results that meet real-world needs while helping them grow professionally.

Each team works under the close guidance of faculty advisors to ensure professional outcomes. At the conclusion of the semester, the students present their findings and recommendations to their sponsoring organization and then showcase their results at the CSU San Marcos Trade Show, which is open to the public and attended by local business leaders.

Our Senior Experience teams have successfully completed a wide range of projects, including (but not limited to):

• Marketing: Customer demographic analysis, ad campaign testing, strategic planning
• Social Media: Campaign execution, content calendars, A/B testing
• Market Research: Go-to-market strategies, competitor analysis, site location recommendations using ArcGIS
• Information Systems: Artificial intelligence utilization, cybersecurity audits, website refreshes, software and mobile app mockups, CRM/ERP recommendations
• Finance & Accounting: Business plans, budgeting, pricing analysis
• Human Resources: Recruitment strategies, onboarding plans, policy and procedure handbooks
• Supply Chain and Operations Management: Supplier identification, operations optimization, inventory management
• Nonprofits: All the above plus donor identification, pitch decks, and grant research (CSU San Marcos also offer a grant to cover the project fee for qualifying nonprofits!)
